- About Me:
- I am a stay at home mom with twin 12yr olds. I will start homeschooling this fall (7th grade). My girls have been asking me to HS for the last two years. They are very aware that the school they attend has several problems. It has just taken me forever to realize it! I have several friends I know from church the HS so I have a great base.
We have 2 dogs and live in TX.
I also own a small company that designs and creates funky guitar pick jewelry. We are a wholesale company for retail but also do fundraisers and events.
I am also an abstract artist working with diff. mediums and surfaces.

- What is your primary goal in Homeschooling your kids?
- confidence, not molding to a who's wearing what mantality, a christian curriculum (no evolution except teaching about what the idea is and how to stand against it.) NO WALKING FISH HERE!

defending our choice
AHHH! I just told my mom that we have decided to HS our 12 yrold twin girls. And just like everything i have read about questions, her first was, "Socialization". I believe I explained it the best I could but in the end I told her that we are going forward with this and the choice has been covered in prayer for a long time and our girls are the ones who asked us 2 years ago. they realize that their school has deep issues with the students.
