Profile Information

About Me:
We began homeschooling our oldest son half-way through first grade. Three years ago (after our oldest had already graduated) we put our next two into the Christian school that is affiliated with our church. After adding our fourth child into the educational mix and graduating our daughter, we prayerfully decided to resume homeschooling next year. I am so excited! I have taught in our Christian school for the last two years; but my heart is truly in homeschooling. I can't wait! Our state doesn't approve of us homeschooling our foster children which I am totally OK with; that would be a trial and a half.

When I have spare time I LOVE digital scrapbooking!
How Long have you homeschooled?
12
What ages are your children?
Biological 20, 18, 13, 7
Foster 24, 16
What Homeschool theory do you ascribe to?
Hmmm....don't know about a specific theory; but I am not one for creating my own curriculum. I like having everything all set for me. We will ocassionally do a unit study during the year on something that appeals to the kids but primarily stick to our laid out curriculum.
What is your primary goal in Homeschooling your kids?
To mold loving, well-mannered, godly, children who love to learn and strive to be their best for God's glory.
What is your greatest challenge with Homeschooling?
Schooling even when I'd rather take a day off! That and high school math!!!!
