- About Me:
- I am a Christian homeschooling Mom of Seven (7) that enjoys reading my Bible, scrapbooking, cooking, gardening, home preserving, cross-stitching, sewing, crocheting, blogging.
My family and I live in the country on 5 acres that are high on a mountaintop in Tennessee. We used to have a couple of cats, four goats, two ducks, three rabbits, and flock of chickens, but now we just have three chickens and one crazy cat.
We have been homeschooling since 1999. As of February 2008, our oldest is 19 years old and our youngest is 16 months old. We use the Rod & Staff curriculum mainly but also delve into Unit Studies and create lapbooks. Above all we use the Bible as the basis for our homeschool and our home. Without HIM we are nothing.

- What Homeschool theory do you ascribe to?
- That it is the responsibility as a parent to nurture, love, and teach our children.
- What is your primary goal in Homeschooling your kids?
- To give them the grounds to excel in whatever they do and to teach them that there is a God.
- What is your greatest challenge with Homeschooling?
- Not enough money for all the cool stuff that my children want to experiment with.
