- About Me:
- I am a homeschooling momma, with three children. A daughter that is 7 and is in second grade, a two year old that we will officially begin preschool with in the fall and a newborn son. I am an Assistant Pastor's wife and I am so busy sometimes I can't see straight, but I believe whole-heartedly in homeschooling and won't give it up for anything.
- How Long have you homeschooled?
- 2 years, going into our third
- What ages are your children?
- Seven

- What Homeschool theory do you ascribe to?
- Teach them what they need to know and what you want them to know. I believe that parents are their children's first teacher and the most important. The Bible commands that we "train up our children" and I believe that means in every way possible.
- What is your primary goal in Homeschooling your kids?
- To raise Godly, well-educated children.
- What is your greatest challenge with Homeschooling?
- The toddler and the newborn, still trying to figure out the best way to homeschool with the help of a two year old.

Gearin' Up
We are getting ready to start the new school year, and I have to say I could use a few more weeks of vacation. I am working on our plan of action and we will start with reviewing on Monday and then actual work the next Monday. I have been reading Homeschooling at the Speed of Life and I highly recommend it for anyone, but especially for someone just starting out. Well, I need to get back to the troops.
